Welcome to the Printz Research Group! Before you get started on research, there are a few tasks that must be completed. If anything is unclear, please ask a graduate student: Lab Roster

First Step for All Researchers:

Read through the Printz Research Group Lab Handbook:

Here, you will find lab policies, responsibilities, and other important details. You MUST complete and return a SIGNED COPY of the lab agreement to Adam Printz ([email protected]) before you will be allowed to work in the lab.

For Researchers Doing Any Wet Lab Work:

Lab Entry Checklist

After you have returned a signed copy of the lab agreement to Adam Printz, you MUST complete and sign the Lab Entry Checklist:

When you are finished, pleased return a signed copy in .pdf format to the Lab Safety Officer (currently Nabeeha Malik) before beginning to work in the lab.

Additional Lab Safety Training

Safety trainings must be completed and are found through Edge Learning. Please sign on using your UA credentials and search for the following courses:

  1. Fire Safety Awareness

Once completed, please print off your Course Certificates and give them to the safety coordinator. You may not start in the lab until these are done. Once completed, please schedule a safety walkthrough with the Lab Safety Manager ([email protected]) or via discord.
